Quick question to all camera winners. Loooked briefly at warranty card. Do we need a receipt to get full warranty?

I won a coolpix from another comp and I just rang the number on the front of the box. No receipt required. Just said I won it.Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small
