You could always try a pair of rubber gloves!!If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.0

I use 2 of the silicon mitts from Lakeland - they are dishwasher proof too
They cost £9.95 each though.

I got a silicone mit from Bainbridges in Newcastle (now John Lewis - always was but has been rebranded like all of the regional non-John Lewis John Lewis stores) and it's ace. Sometimes still feels hot to the hand in there but it's not burning hot if you see what I mean. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
If you have an AGA shop near you have a look at theirs. They are individual elbow length gloves and really do the job they were designed for. Not cheap though.Middlers0

i was gonna say john lewises or lakeland, i think some sorts have some sort of coating as well to prevent the heat getting to you like the silver cover on ironing boards, or is it burn proof lol-i know they have lots of designs in jl anyway.Fr.
