Snotty jobsworth SA who looked like a tarted up extra from Dawn Of The Dead refused to give me the stuffing thing.
SA: 'Your Lady must come and have a consultation.'
Me: 'She's agoraphobic.'
SA: 'But there must be a consultation.'
Me: 'OK I'll have one.'
SA: 'Ha, ha.'
Me: 'No seriously, consult me lady.'
SA: 'Sorry Sir, I need to serve a customer now.'
Well, at least the SA on the Max Factor till had a giggle.

The OP said hers was brown and cream that doesn't mean that was the only colour on offer,I was just enquiring if you had a choice or there was only one available.
Thanks Kimberry for answering my question:)0 -
This is the one:0

Thanks for this I managed to get mine from Boots in Swansea - the Consultant didn't know about the offer and she said they only had 4 of the compacts left. I did have the consultation but will worth it for the compact:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0

I got mine but I HAD to have a skincare consultation and be shown how I could apply the colours in the eyeshadow palette.
I wouldn't mind knowing what she said about applying the colours if you've a minute to share, room512? I'm always useless at that sort of thing:o
Maybe I should have had the consultation:rolleyes:0 -

I would complain to either EA or Boots about that tbh. Yes, very funny, but it's probably illegal somehow. Some men buy make up and lots of men buy skin care. Why should they be discriminated against? Maybe you should borrow a frock and heels and try again?
PS. The EA rep who served me said the consultation was optional. I told her quite honestly I couldn't afford to buy EA on a regular basis so it would be a waste of her time. She was fine with that and even gave me a sample of moisturiser. (Perhaps she thought my skin could do with it, lol.)Val.0 -

Likewise with others, when scanned through the till it was £10 and not £25.
Dont have a problem with the item, it was as advertised and very nice but why such blatant false advertising of an incorrect price?0 -

Dont have a problem with the item, it was as advertised and very nice but why such blatant false advertising of an incorrect price?I'm pretty sure if you were to buy this from a premium brand such as Elizabeth Arden, it would cost more than £10. I think it definitely looks more like £25. I've had a similar thing in the past from Clarins and it was somewhere in the region of £20- £25. The American websites are selling it for $30.

I got this eye shadow quad from Beauty Counter Direct ages ago as it was part of a magazine offer so only had to quote the code and pay 2.99 post and packing. Think I found the code on the health and beauty forum so it might be worth checking on there and also on the BCD site to see if its still available. Its really nice and will make a nice present for someone.I'd earmarked it for my sister but ended up using it myself!!!! Am going to try get another one through the Prima promotion though.......loobylou2.Proud to be dealing with my debts and aiming to sort out the mess in 2013!!!!:eek:0
