No audio output from PC to TV

When I connect my PC audio output (earphone jack to red and white RCA socket) into the red and white audio socket on the TV I get no sound. I have looked on my PC but cannot see what I may have to change to get this to work.
I have put in ordinary earphones to the PC and they work
Has anyone have any idea what I do next
I have a Toshipa Satellite Pro 2400 PC and a Goodman TV with RCA and Scart sockets

    erm

Unless im mistaken, youve plugged the audio into the tvs audio OUTPUT. Meaning you wont hear anything (Those are to plug the tv into a seperate amplifier)

  • Should work but turn up all volumes a bit?
Can you see the PC on screen?
Switch TV to "aux" input/PC input/"ext" try them all
    Mute switched in?
