Hey guys,
I have a Dell Dimension 5150 with 1gb of ram and a Radeon x300se 128mb graphics card.
Im ordered my 2x2gb of ram but also want to upgrade my graphics card to 256/512. Can anyone recommend a suitable card that i could go for which will work with the standard dell 300wt psu?

The 300W PSU is going to be a bit of a problem. Why are you wanting to upgrade the graphics? Unless you do 3D gaming, there's no point whatsoever. You will not get any more speed in 2D and the memory on the card is used for texture maps in 3D apps/games so you wouldn't benefit from more RAM in 2D either.0

There are various forum posts around the internet where owners have installed the Nvidia 8600 GT graphics card without problems.
But for good 3D gaming, you would need a 8800 series card (or ATI equivalent) which would not work.
Conor has a point though - this upgrade only makes sense if you play games.0
