Firefox closing unexpectadly

This morning i turned on the computer and loaded up firefox and started to read some stuff on the virgin media page and the next thing i know firefox closes without me having to close firefox with the mouse, is a restore best ?, is there a way to find out why firefox crashed ?, im on xp sp3, im using safari to post this and safaris ok, before ill attempt a restore ill create a new profile and see if same happens again then ill try reinstalling firefox

    Unless this is a recurring problem then I wouldn't do anything. sometimes PCs stop, sometimes windows crashes, and sometimes browers shut down for no reason that we can fully understand (ie, the problem is so small it doesn't warrant hours of investigation unless it turns into an issue)

    Turn it off. Turn it on again. Reboot. if it doesn't happen again then...meh, it's technology.

    ok it seems firefox had 1 of its moments as ive opened firefox up and it hasnt closed like it did this morning, i guess firefox doesnt keep a record of why firefox closes
