Negs & neutrals for P&P - hypocritical buyer?

There is a buyer of DVD's who continually bids on films, but then leaves negs and neutrals for sellers who charge £1.75+ on a single disc.

They have built a bit of a reputation for themselves amongst many DVD sellers, but now they have listed a DVD of their own, with P&P of £1.85...

I know it's wrong, but she has ended up on a lot of "favourite seller" lists and I think her previous habits may end up biting her back.

Can she not be reported for malicious use of the feedback system ? That is an eBay crime.

The new media postage policy should remove the issue.

It will be hard to judge, as most sellers will simply increase the starting price to absorb the P&P cost.

Bad news for buyers as it also means that combined discounts will be few and far between.

eBay are obviously trying to compete with Amazon and Play with this idea, but unlike Play & Amazon, eBay are not the retailers themselves - it is the individual sellers.

  • Reported her for fee avoidance. She's mentioned and linked to her web design business at the bottom of her Me blurb.

P.S. The webside links below are of websites which I have designed, built and maintain, if you want more information about those please click any links relating to this or email me.

Perhaps someone should ask her if she's definitely got the p&p charges right, in view of what she says about others' charges?

She certainly sounds like someone to avoid entirely. Did you see her neg as a seller for 2refused to take paypal after advertising it as accepted method of payment"

Sounds like despite her feedback she has very little understanding of ebay..

EDIT: She 'prefers' bank transfers. here's a seller that is likely to go down fairly quickly. That is one reporting category that ebay do act on.

the £1.85 she charges is for "recorded delivery which is included in p&p price"

The title of the DVD she is selling is a tad ironic.

Yet she left neutrals and negs for sellers who sent her DVDs by recorded delivery at a cost of around £1.80, saying they were ripping her off.

Oh, she also refuses to refund on a lost item unless she receives compensation from the RM first. No wonder she doesn't like paypal. ;)
If an item is lost or damaged via the postal service, I will not be held responsible, but I do obtain a reciept of posting for all items sent out and will help to put in a claim if needbe. I will not refund unless the post office refunds me

I think that even if the £1.85 is reasonable that the negs and neutrals used are unfair even if that didn't go towards postage. Some of that is a charge for time spent packaging item, traveling, petrol, etc. People can charge what they like for that and it's up to the buyer whether they want to pay that or not.

Oh, I totally agree. The P&P charges were stated on the auctions she won. If she had a problem with them, she should never have bid. She chose to bid, which means she accepted the charges as they stood. She's out of order leaving negs and neutrals about the clearly stated charges after she's won and received her item. I hope someone does the same to her now with her Payback DVD. Having read through her Me thing, I'm certain she's one seller I'd never want to buy from. Seriously, the woman has a major attitude problem. Her website designs are crap, as well! ;)
