Sneakily get mortgage advice for free

Although my initial posting was to see if anyone has any experience of using Cartel for mortgages, maybe I will put some of these points to matey this evening. I take it that nobody reading HAS experience of using Cartel?0

Well I was going to post a comment about the developments of my meeting with Cartel. However, the chap turned up, and was very open and honest, and basically couln't help me!! I'm on an "income stretch" mortgage as it is, so the amount of money I need against my earnings is beyond what they offer. However, he looked at my present mortgage arrangements (with Brittannia), and gave me some advice on that (to ask them about) to get a better deal with them. Essentially, I've got a Flexible Mortgage, but I'm not using any of my "flexible options", and I probably won't want to in the foreseeable future. Therefore, I can maybe change to a different type of Mortgage and get a better rate. The rate I am on at the moment must include an allowance for the flexible options. So if they're not being used, why pay.0
