Which travel ticket to buy in London?

If it has been answered elsewhere - I apologise.
Going to London, arrive on a Thursday, stay to Sunday.
I am confused whether to get an Oyster card or a travelpass etc etc
Will only be using tube / DLR
Will only be travelling off peak.
Will be doing lots of on and off short journeys throughout the day
Advice would be appreciated

    Hi
For personal choice I would go for the Oyster card. It is by far the easiest and cheapest way to see london.Use this link, it should help you to decide as it will show you savings and {at the bottomshows the comparison between Oyster and travel cards

Oyster is the cheapest, if not going to visit the attractions. It caps at 50p less per day than the off peak travel card rate if doing losts of journeys on buses tubes etc and is handy as you just buy at newagents, train stations etc (£3 refundable deposit) and top up with money as required. However you cannot use an oyster to get the 2for 1 train ticket offers and if going to see attractions such as Tower Of London, Madam Tussauds. London Dungeons, zsl london zoo etc, it is cheaper to get a daily off peak travel card (aft 9.30am from the station) and use this with the vouchers from this site to get 2 people in for the price of one as you save a lot more than 50p a day.
