I've been "clicking" on this site for years, but do I understand right- unless I subsequently click on a sponsor on the second page, they don't give any money?0

I have been clicking this for some time now, WITHOUT clicking the sponsers, can someone confirm if this counts or not please ?
Also, does anyone know how to create a script which will automatically launch and click this site once each time I run Internet Explorer, so I don't have to keep doing manually?0 -
I could write a script that did that, pm me0

I don't think the Hungersite is actually working.
It lets you click and 'thanks' you any number of times a day, whereas I would have expected it to tell you, after the first one, that subsequent ones don't count.
And where, on the 'Thank you' page, it says, "Today, you and others have generated the value of - cups of food. Thank you! (Please note that the click value updates every two minutes.)", the value is always '-' and never updates.
It's difficult to have confidence in anything so badly done.0 -

No, you don't need to click on the sponsors but if you do this will raise an additional donation for the site.0 -
Hi
I use this website to rotate the startpages whenever I open up IE - which should answer the query a couple of posts back.
http://www.whatpage.org/
The website runs a prog called 'Rotating Home Page Tool' and it's absolutely FREE. All of my startpages on my 'puter are click to donate websites and I have about 10 of them in there.
A wee while back, I collected all the click to donate websites I could find and put them into one site of my own, so that I could visit it and click to donate to my hearts content. My website is called Jigsaw of Smiles and the url is
http://www.jigsaw-of-smiles.8m.com/
I hope there are people who may find the time to pop in to my site and hopefully click on some of the click to donate links.
I also use this site to remind me to visit a click to donate site. Once you sign up it sends an email every 2 days with a different website to visit. BTW, I've never been spammed by the site and the owner of the site has popped into a few other newsgroups I visit every now again and seems pretty genuine to me.

The Hunger Site is a good one but bare in mind that the advertisers sign up to help free donation sites because they expect people to view/click through their ads. So it's important that you help the sponsors out too so that they continue to support the sites.
I personally run a free donation site that raises money for the Surrey Wildlife Trust here in Britain. We're always on the lookout for sponsors but our model differs slightly from The Hunger Site et al. We offer advertising slots for £1 per day as a fixed rate (then we don't have to worry about multiple clicks from the same PC etc.), so if anyone is interested I'd love to hear from you.
http://www.theenvironmentsite.org is the url. We've raised around £1,500 so far for SWT and are looking forward to adding to this considerably in 2006.0 -
Like many others, I suppose, I made the Hunger Site my home page, so that I wouldn't forget to click on it and the other linked charities. However, a number of times my PC has frozen after doing this. It didn't happen before and doesn't happen when I don't do the clicking.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?0
