alternative to 1899 for cable customers?

I now pay the 3p connection and 0.5p a minute on my calls which obviously makes a big difference to my bills [but is still cheaper than telewest]
do any of the other providers offer free calls to cable? after the connection charge obviously.......

I believe you can sign up for OneTel's LeisureUKTalk package (they send you a dialler) and get free evening and weekend calls to UK 01/02 numbers for 99p/month.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

No 1899 is the cheapest at peak rate.If you use 1899 at peak and ontel for evenings you want go far wrong.0

Sorry to jump in on this thread. Is there anyway I can use two diallers? I ask this as I already have one for 1899 as wasn't thinking of changing but so many of you have suggest only using them for peak time and One tel for evenings.

I just use my orchid dialler for one tel, with a 3 second delay. Havent used the onetel dialler at all and had no problems so far
