Tesco Points for a holiday

Got a fair bit of tesco vouchers saved up, want to convert them through the tesco deals and put it towards a holiday to america (New york or boston) - Which deals are best? Is it better value using airmiles or using one of the companys to book a package holiday? which gives you the better value (ususally)?

I think a package could be good, but not in school holidays or peak times when they put their prices up. I don't think the hotels are that good value on airmiles.
Worth doing a search for both and doing a bit of a comparison.

I used mine this year for Virgin holidays, although I think in retrospect if I had booked nearer the time of the holiday I could have got my flight and hotel cheaper elsewhere than Virgin's price less vouchers. It's really only any good if you have over £150 of Clubcard vouchers ie £600 Virgin vouchers. Also, you can only book for holidays of 7 days and over.
Airmiles do not go very far, and Cosmos holidays are expensive anyway,
I have £100 worth of vouchers myself and am wondering whether to use them for Virgin holidays or just use them (double value) towards champagne for Christmas!!
