We are going to Aviemore at Christmas (27th). Does anyone know whether snow is forecast at lower levels. Enough for sledging? :santa2:

I think it's still a little early to make predictions on snow fall, BUT if there is going to be snow in Scotland, it will likely fall in Aviemore as it is North and one thing for sure, it will be VERY cold up there, so wrap up warm.
I always wear a bin bag round my bum for sledging as it stops it from getting wet :rudolf:****************************0 -
yes a lot of snow already in europe
try looking at ski club of Great Britain and igluski.com they 2 have snow reports and history.

can only re-iterate....wrap up warm..Aviemore is bitter cold! But the air is so fresh and clean...lovely!
Decembers not the greatest for snow in scotland ...most usually in the new year. But you never know your luck!
