Thanks, hadn't thought of that. So I could just ask for a refund without a reason and then go and buy the larger pack? Aren't they funny about that?
I can't ask for a straight exchange as they would probably write on the receipt and that probably wouldn't be much use for a TMF.
I did use a coupon for £1 off the stain remover but I bought a few other items and the coupon came off the total bill. Would that cause problems in getting a refund?
I would not have thought not. I have returned bits to Sainsburys and they just look at how much you paid and don't even take the points back. On returning stuff to Tesco they don't look at coupons they just look to see if you used a CC and how much you paid. Not to sure about the other. I don't think the supermarkets mind refunding the the coupon as they claim it back anyway.0 -

There's two different sorts of Ariel, a blue one and a white one, so at CS I'd blame my husband for buying the wrong one and I'd hope CS would give you a refund allowing you to get a bigger one. They're not going to know at CS that that coupon relates to the Ariel.0 -

Can you buy the liquid one too? Thanks
Do you know if they refund postage?0 -
Sweetie, you could always take it back to the store, get a refund on it and then buy the bigger pack.
I'm going to be brave and try and get 4/5 TMF/MBGs from Sainsbury's this week and use a £3 off £20 voucher. Do you think if I ask nicely they will give me 4/5 receipts instead of 1? Do I have to smile nicely or just ask? Thanks in advance.
I'd put the items through in separate transactions because I suspect you're going to buy Frenchs, Franks and Dr Beckmanns which are all processed at the same address in Hemel Hempstead. I personally think to put all those TMF products on one receipt might look at bit suspect.0 -

I looked at the bigger value pack but it didn't occur to me to buy it and maximise the savings. I always make these silly mistakes! Still reeling from the time I applied for the Percol coffee refund and forgot to include my address as I was so busy following the t&cs to the letter, and it didn't say include your name and adress. Useless!
I did something similar this week. I posted the lerdammer and the method as they were free post I posted the go cat with them forgetting the stamp. So hopefully they will just knock it of the refund. :mad:0 -
