I guess the website was working for those who manged to get in quickly as Hotel's site says all £1 rooms now sold.
It also says the website will be back up shortly, perhaps volume of traffic knocked it off its perch?Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0 -
I tried their website in IE7 which wouldn't work, then opened Firefox which showed their homepage without any problems but still with their glitch. Even after refreshing the IP Address IE7 wouldn't work with it.
The HTML link posted on here previously didn't work so that's something to remember for the next £1 sale.0 -
was a joke! I was there before it started and waited. midday came my wanted date came up saying £1 so thought happy days. gave my details for payment etc then then said rate not available- what a joke why didnt it say that wen chosing date would have chosen another oen but by the time done all my details other dates werent available. not impressed.0

I went to their homepage and clicked on the '£1' link & got a room pretty easy, I was a few days flexible in late december so found an available night in the end!0

I used the link in Firefox - and you are correct, it didn't work at all. Tried several times closing browser etc but to no avail. Oddly, I got on through the normal way and found a room, they have my information stored from previous stays, but wouldn't let me book - kept saying I needed a checkout date, which of course I had chosen. Also, wouldn't let me enter CC expiry date. So no room for me.
Would be interested to know what went wrong for next time.0
