Hello
I am having trouble with the Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 game.
My son took out the disc and put in the expansion pack, thinking that it was not already installed, but it was.
He put the RCT2 disc back in but it wont load properly
So, I deleted the expansion pack and tried to reload the game.
But when it reloads the computer stops at 85% and a message comes on the screen reading:
COMPONENT TRANSFER ERROR
Component: Full Install
File Group: Full
File:
\Data\css20.dat
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
OK
Can anyone help?

Hello,
I have just tried to load it again, but a slightly different message has come up:
COMPONENT TRANSFER ERROR
Component: Full Install
File Group: Full
File:
\Data\css20.dat
Error: Data Error ( The device is not ready)
OK0 -
A cyclic redundancy check is usually an error reading from the disc, ie. a scratch or mark.0

Thanks for that. I cleaned the disc again and now it works fine.0
