Honestly guys, it REALLY is a load of rubbish:

A few things about the last weeks show. Did you notice how the padding in the "padded cell" was about the only thing that hadn't rotted away in the whole place? (Yes, all the padding was put there by the set designers).

The mortuary dissection table was also a prop. The real one was smashed by vandals a long time ago.

The "sedation chair" was also a prop - it's actually a prop for an electric chair (not a real one of course).

The whole site was bought by a developer for £1 and was paid £30,000 for it by the MHL show before the demolition begins. Good money eh?

Karl and Yvette are loaded as a result of this. Karl has 3 ferraris!!! But good luck to them... it's a terrific business idea.... (even if it is all a load of rubbish)...did you ever notice that however "exciting" the show is becoming, they always go to ads..... bring in the money.......

Finally, an admission by Yvette herself that Derek Acorah was/is a fake:

Finally finally, just because we don't fully understand something does not mean it exists. When you put together a spooky environment (and it was a great choice of set), a group of highly suggestive people and gradually increase the suspense.... of course people are going to get scared. It's a natural response. Doesn't mean anything is actually going on. It makes me laugh that people were txting in saying they "felt the presence of nurses" etc... well of course they did.. it was a hospital!!!!!!! If they'd been in a castle, people would have been feeling the presence of knights or wizards. And the scene at the end was really funny.. the same guy who had been summoning the devil at the beginning of the show now donned his priest robes and cast the devil out again... brilliant!

It doesn't matter whether MH is faked or not because people enjoy it and if they like it, why not?
