Food On The Go. (National Shopping Monitor)

Has anyone else who's a member of National Shopping Monitor been invited to their new panel Food On The Go? you have to text the details of things you buy to eat away from home. Seems really good to me. You get 1000 points to sign up for each member in your house hold. And you get 1000 points each per household member each week you are on it. 200 points for each text you send them. And the texts are free. Also if you don't have anything to send at the end of the week you just text "nothing" and you still get 500 points. There are maximum points of 5000 points per household member you can earn. I haven't seen anything on here about it. I just wondered if anyone else has been lucky enough to get an invite? This tells you more about it.

  • Yes i got invited about 6 weeks ago it's much more worthwhile than shop and scan as you can accumalate the points much quicker so it doesn't take as long to get your vouchers, would definitely recmmend it and texting is so much easier.
  • Yes I just started it this week. It definitely sounds good, we'll have loads of vouchers in no time!

  • I got invited because i was on the shop and scan already once you have joined you get a certain amount of points for every text you send if you send the maximum amount you can earn the equivelant of £5.00 a week, the vouchers are for places like woolworths the odeon or you can get leisure vouchers for meals there's quite a good choice. I was with shop and scan for a few years before i got an invite for food on the go.
  • Yes I do shop and scan too. I have been doing it for about 18 months and just got invited for food on the go at the weekend. To join shop and scan I emailed them my details and said I was interested. I got an email a few weeks later with an invite.

The vouchers are great, with shop and scan you get the equivalent of £1 a week and can cash them in every time you reach £10 if you like. I usually get Next vouchers but have been getting Argos for Christmas. With shop and scan and food on the go you can get a maximum of £6 a week so it'll add up quickly. Does anyone know is it a maximum of 5000 points per household, or per person for food on the go as my husband is doing it too.

  • Ooh does look interesting, does anyone know how to join? I am not a member of Shop and Scan (but would like to be!)
  • It's a maximum 5000 points per person. Not per household. Should build the points up really fast.
