Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I didnt even know Polaroid made tvs!
At the end of the day your trying to get a 37" tv for 340 quid, which simply isnt enough.
Ill quote this "Having read some quite unimpressive reviews on other sites for this television"
It seems all the high reviews on amazon are having been plugged into high definition. Ill bet the tv is flawed all over the place. Picture smearing, flickering etc.

heres a guy that knows what hes actually talking about ~
"Delivery was great & speedy. However I cant seem 2 get a really good picture. Ive got a Star box connected 2 this TV for extra channels, so dont know if this is the reason my colours r 2 strong on certain channels & brightness & contrast is poor. The picture should be crystal clear shouldnt it?? Where is best place 2 plug the HDMI cable into apart from the TV? I attached a Daewoo DVD/Video recorder & put HDMI gold cable thro that but picture was no better. Also paid £120 for a new Digital aerial but still no difference!! Any advice wud b helpful as 2 whether Ive got it wrong or the TV just isnt a great make (as aerial engineers told me)"
Clearly, freeview is awful and the tv cannot be 'calibrated' correctly

I wouldnt buy it anyways ~
You get what you pay for.

If you wanta really decent 37", buy a Panasonic Plasma

  • Hi pennyocs, Just to advise you that if if does not say Pioneer or Panasonic on the front you don't want it. That's rule number 1.

Go look at those two for a start and then go down to Samsung - Sony - LG
Read review mags in your library, or WHS Get some ideas on budget and get the best you can afford.
Come back and tell us what you have seen. Also the tvs on display tend to be on the brightest settings and shows rooms are poor places to view.
  • That's only rule number 1 if you are buying a plasma. Sony make some very good LCD screens and certainly are far higher than Samsung in terms of picture quality and sound.
