very very odd buyer

I sold something a couple of weeks back and the buyer responded to say how nice it was and asked me a couple of questions. I responded, thanked her for her positively glowing feedback and wished her a merry Christmas.

I've just got an email asking whether she could have a photo of me so she could see who she was talking to...

OOoh, It feels a bit creepy..

    Perhaps she's lonely; perhaps she simply finds the whole Ebay thing a little impersonal. I know I've chatted quite a bit with some of my buyers/sellers; I'm fairly outgoing. But no-one's asked for my photo, or my inside leg measurement, or my hand in marriage ... you don't have a pet rabbit, do you?

    My wife buys a lot of craft stuff on my EBay account and one of the people she deals with regularly started sending me emails calling me Love and Darling.

    Nothing wrong with that you might think until she started sending me boxes of chocolates......
