I really really really would not do this. The status of the accounts are in total chaos. Its not just the missing payments (and I'm sure you can't have missed the thread on that). So ING say 'your accounts will operate normally'. Well, I decided to take the plunge, despite being a victim of missing payments out, and moved a chunk of money in my instant account to open a new FTD. Only about an hour later to discover the thread where other poeple had done this and then phoned up KE only to be told that it wouldn't be honoured (new FTDs since it went t***s up). A converation I had with KE gave the same answer. So now I'm in limbo unwilling to comitt other monies to a fixed term as I have no idea whether ING will honour or break my new FTD. [As opposed to the comittment they have made to honouring those in existence when they took over].
A total shambles where they allow you to execute a transaction which they may not honour later is NOT a place I would want to comitt more money too at the moment.
And I personally have not, and won't, risk txing money out of KE until I know the current debacle on transfers has been fully resolved.0 -

Money went in to the account today with no problem, as I expected.0
