I fancy getting a wii for our daughter for Xmas, however, our Toshiba TV is older than her, but still going strong. Will I be able to connect a Wii or will I need a newer TV? Don`t want to splash out if it won`t work, and won`t get a new TV until I decorate sometime next year.
Thanks

There will almost certainly be a way of doing it, although you might need to spend a couple of quid on a scart adaptor.
What inputs does your TV have?
Alternatively, what model number is it?0 -
you can get these

TV is a Toshiba Nicam Digital Stereo 2939DB, (don`t laugh when you see how old it is!!)0

It should do, it has a Composite and audio connections, and an adaptor to get it to connect via a scart socket.
I don't think there are many (any) nicam TV's that didn't have scart connections or composite and audio connections (I think scart came into general use around '91-92).
The RGB scart linked to is an optional extra that gives a slightly better picture0 -
We have scart leads, will everything else come in the box with the wii.
Many thanks all for your help, much appreicated as always.0 -

The cables supplied with the Wii will connect to a scart socket on your tv so you will be fine !0 -
