what happons now?

in Benefits & tax credits
i submited my claim for dla via the online version and when i finished it didnt say what happons next? will they write me a letter? how long dose this take has anyone done it online before how long did it take?

    I did the same thing online, when did you send it online if it was today then you may well get a phone call tomorrow, i sent mine in on Friday 26th sept'08
    me forgetting which day it was lol i got a phone first thing on Monday and it was about 1 1/2 weeks before i got my first payment!!

    Hopefully it will go OK for you good luck!!:j

    what was the phone call for? i had to give my partners number as we only have one mobile and no landline she takes it to work with her.

    Actually my mistake sorry!!!
    I had claimed for something else that day to!!No i didn't receive a phone call on Monday it was Tues or Wednesday as they needed a little more information from me but i received a letter stating what i been rewarded about 4 days (roughly)after i applied...

    Sorry for mentioning the phone call!

    You'll usually get a letter within a week or so saying they are dealing with your claim and to contact if you haven't heard anything within 8 weeks to contact them.

    If you don't hear anything at all saying they have received your claim within 2 weeks call them to make sure they have it.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    You got a dla award in 4 days?it normally takes them 2 weeks to write a letter to say they have received the application,then usually around another 10 weeks before they make a decision:confused:
