Just been into my local Lloyds Pharmacy in Birmingham and bought:
Pack of 8 AA Duracell batteries for £1.99 - reduced from £3.99 (expiry date 2012, till receipt says they are 'excess stock')
Sim Card Reader for £1.99, includes battery - reduced from £7.99 (stores up to 250 names and numbers, although not suitable for 3G Sim Cards)
:j
Update: Just used the Sim Card reader to transfer numbers to my new mobile and it did the job very quickly. Well worth the £1.990 -
Hi gals & guys,
just stopped by my local Lloyds Chemist and they are doing Pantene (small bottle) shampoo & conditioners for just 99p instead of the usual £2.49 ... enjoy :beer:0 -
in llyods chemist they have sim-card back-up for only £1.99 reduced from £6.99.** No links in signatures please - Edited by Abuse Controller **0

In Poundland in Newcastle upon Tyne (Eldon Square) they've got mobile phone sim back-up units, small enough to fit on a keyring and only a quid each. They were on the display near the batteries on the way into the store.
I'm a firm believer that mobile phones are the devil's playthings so I didn't get one myself so I can't vouch for the quality of their units.
I don't know if this offer applies to all Poundlands nationally.0 -

The scales are pre-programmed with over 400 foods and drinks so you can checkout the nutritional value of the meals you eat so you too can be a healthy eater. Loose those unwanted pounds in time for the summer hols so you can strut the beach in confidence once again.

Does anyone know if these are going on offer again? I missed this offer and I would have really liked a set of these scales!! Are they any use?0 -

I bought the Nutritional Electronic Scales before Christmas for £7.99 and I've just seen them for sale at another branch for the full price of £39.99.0 -

Don't know if they're still on offer but I certainly rate them!
I bought mine on 7th March together with the body fat monitor and I'm really pleased with both.
More to the point I've lost 6lbs in weight without going on a boring, restrictive diet.
All I did was note down the details of calories, fat, carbs etc of what I was eating normally and then weigh up (sorry about the pun) whether I really wanted to eat that much fat and calories or was there an acceptable alternative.
Jo4, I'd say buy a set if you can. It really opened my eyes as to what I'd been scoffing down in terms of calories, carbs, cholesterol, fats and saturated fat and sodium!
ButterfliI'll catch up tomorrow!0 -

Old offer but tommorrow is offer day and I bet they will be £7.99 again and if you tried to buy them I bet staff would sell them for £7.99
Think tommorrow is the heart rate monitor day offer to start. Has anyone seen them on sale at full price yet??? OR it could be the Sim card storer, you should look in their stock rooms, most stores are crammed with these offer stocks that head office just allocate.
Sorry to sound quite negative, I earn quite tidy sums from this Company, but don't like the idea of ripping customers off with pretend offers.0
