Monopoly online?

I used to play Monopoly online at a site which I think was https://www.games.com. It then moved to games.atari.com, who then removed Monopoly. :eek:

Fine, the game had it's quirks - but I really enjoyed playing Monopoly online with my friends, and watching my score go up...or even down! :eek::(:rolleyes:

Would appreciate some links to websites where you can play Monopoly online - last time I tried looking, it was just stupid downloads.

I believe hasbro got upset about the use of their intellectual property and slapped a lot of the sites with cease and desist orders.

Also galactic magnate. A game based on the monopoly concept but with differences. I started playing it after atari lost the rights to online monopoly. Its a good idea to read some of the game info first so you can get an idea of what the diffences are. It takes a few goes to get used to the game. But its better imo than original monopoly when you get past that first "eeek".

Its a small download but you play against real people around the world.
