I think Empire would have him/her sussed as an eBay trader - or just plain greedy - and refuse to supply the goods.

OR ...

They DO supply the goods, but that means that ordinary folks can't get, cos they've sold out.

AND ...

I do tend to think that this kind of practice shows a certain greed on the part of the buyer, which I find sad (in the proper meaning of the word).

Before I'm shot down in flames, I know that m00nie (and anybody else) has a perfect right to order 10 000 of the things, if s/he wants. And s/he wants the dosh to spend on the kids, etc.

But I still find it reflects badly on human nature.

and thank you for the chance to grab a few bargains ... those of us who got up early ... hopefully got the worm as they say ... we have ordered a samsung digital camera ... we received an email confirmation of the order within the hour - so hopefully we will be lucky ... and yes it looks like we get a free jacket ...

I am just wondering if I should snap up a bargain tv ... but we have not got enough rooms to put another tv in ... do you think it is a bit ott to have one in the loo ...

Good luck with all of your orders, however I would note that:

a) The telephone order team do not have access to the live stock levels. If they told you it is showing as in stock that's because it was on Friday.

b) Web orders and telephone orders are queued in order of the time at which they were placed.

c) No orders will actually be processed until Monday.

d) The item which has received the most orders today had a stock level of TWO on Friday.

Well the lady I placed my telephone order with today told me the items I asked about were definately in stock, she took my payment details and said I would recieve them within 10 days.

I took a day off from here to do lots of uni work and look at what I miss!! The site is so slow (i'm on a 10meg connection) and its nearly impossible to access anything!
