Remember distance selling means that anything you do manage to get and find once its delivered you dont really want it can be returned and Empire have a free returns option too.

I just ordered a single item by phone and waited 8 mins for an assistant, she didnt bat an eyelid at the price of my item (roadstar watch and go @ £116) and even suggested that if it was not in stock they would deliver within 7 days.
Cant get a customer number for extra on line orders till the first order on line has been completed though....

I haven't had a separate email confirmation ???. When I placed my order (around 9.15am) it told me what was in stock and what wasn't, there and then. I didn't order any electrical goods though other than a breadmaker perhaps that's why ???. Shall wait and see what arrives - if anything :-/ ??? ???

Just phoned customer services to enquire about stock levels. According to charlie in CS the site updates after each sale to show true stock and if you have received an order confirmation e-mail. Then your items are defintley in stock and you will receive the items ;D fingers crossed he wasn't juts fobbing me off!

I hope that's true. I've saved just over £800 across 2 orders & this Mother Hubbard will be very happy if these goodies arrive

got my confirmation about 10 min after i placed the order

seems that FG4363 is out of stock from what the woman on the phone said, but order confirmation seems ok tho

touch wood, though admittedly i've been a little late on this one!

no doubt more people will grumble about ebaying again :-)
