Cheap 3G phone

Basically I need a cheap 3G phone as the 3 sim no longer works with the old non 3G phone (Got a text saying this would happen by a certain date)

All I'm really wanting from it (It's not actually me but someone else asking me to find one) is a modern colour screen and preferably able to store and play music but that's not overly important.

Just looking for some relatively cheap suggestions. One that I used to ahve was a Nokia 6120 classic, it ticks all the boxes really (so something similar would be a nice suggestion) and can be picked up off ebay for around £30-40.

Just looking for some more suggestions, cheaper if such exists or other alernatives around the same price.

I really like my Nokia 6630, or if you're feeling flusher get an N73, both available on eBay for not much at all. I might be wrong but is there something about the 3 network only working with phones provided by 3?

Thanks, It could be to do with that. I can't remember the phone model she was using but certain features never worked and then 3 sent a message saying their service would only work on 3G phones from a certain date. I'll ahve a look at the 2 phones you mention.
