Home now, but still worked up about work, to add insult to injury, my least favourite person (manager of the office next to ours, nothing to do with me) was told all about it and came up being all 'sympathetic' about whether I was 'upset' ... grrrr.... I think I stayed very calm telling her that I wasn't upset I was "frustrated by the whole situation" - b*gger all to do with here anyway! Have been composing an email in my head to send to managers but not sure if I'm brave enough to send it - it's entirely reasonable, I think, but it's not the done thing there to challenge or question anything.

I used to share an office with someone like that. She used to take something that was possibly not even gossip and say 'well, guess what I heard'. Did my head in after a while because it didn't matter what was happening there was always a whinge to be had about it and how it would affect her.

she is massively busy Sammy - I keep up to date with her blog about her work and her life and she has loads of stuff to do. To be honest, I'd love to meet her. She has Springers and chickens, ducks and geese and seems to have a lovely life in the country and seems really nice. I'd phone her just to say 'hi' but I'm too shy - I detest phoning up people I don't know if it's not a business situation.
