If you've been in more than 15 minutes, you'd be opening doors and looking at your fire thinking: "A little bit less wood next time..."

Thanks Lou, the trouble is that although I've said my piece, it still all has to be thrashed out properly at a later date.. and I know I will be getting an angry phonecall from one of the people affected by it tomorrow.. urgh.

I am confused by the useage of the word 'clart'.. in Scots 'clarty' means dirty..

Its DS sat all wrapped up, OH would just put the halogen heater on or the living flame fire:rolleyes:

OH and I had "words" last night as the idea was instantly dismissed without even looking into it:o .....Im I girl you see so I dont have good ideas.

In the North East we use clarts as a word for Mud and also use it for something that takes a bit of effort or Faff..........OH said that a multi fuel fire would be too much of a Clart On.

You can also clart about.......which means you are a bit naughty:D

Clarty = dirty, but not in a good/naughty way!!
