Back from work now and the house is like a morgue, heating has just clicked on but it will take ages to warm up...............I really wish we had one of those multi fuel fires..............DS is sat with a scarf wrapped around his face and a hooded top on with the hood up.........he looks like the phone jacker:rolleyes:

Does he consider dressing up like a scally to be more or less of a clart than lighting a fire? ;)

If you've been in more than 15 minutes, you'd be opening doors and looking at your fire thinking: "A little bit less wood next time..."

Thanks Lou, the trouble is that although I've said my piece, it still all has to be thrashed out properly at a later date.. and I know I will be getting an angry phonecall from one of the people affected by it tomorrow.. urgh.

    Hiya all,
Back from the doctors, Sign me off work for 10 days. Now what am i gonna do for 10 days??

indebt, you need to rest and relax a little, see if it makes you feel any better....

DO NOT DO HOUSEWORK!!! well no more than bare minimum, this is a little "you" time, albeit not under good circumstances, recharge your batteries...

see if local salons are doing model days, get a free/cheap haircut.... i know it's half term in some places, but see if college can fit you in for a beauty treatment or something....!

go for long walks, borrow a dog if you don't have one...!

do not stay at home and worry....

    take care,

    Maz

In the North East we use clarts as a word for Mud and also use it for something that takes a bit of effort or Faff..........OH said that a multi fuel fire would be too much of a Clart On.

You can also clart about.......which means you are a bit naughty:D

Zed will be able to explain better I think.

Nope - that's exactly the explanation I would have used.
