South Africa Trip Competition Terms & Conditions

The competition starts at 12.01am BST on 4 September 2008. The competition closes at midday GMT on 19 November 2008.

There is 1 (one) prize of a five night holiday for two people to Cape Town staying on a bed & breakfast basis at a minimum four-star graded hotel, return economy class flights from London to Cape Town and transfers between the airport and hotel.

Prize includes a similar, but not guaranteed, itinerary as set out below (subject to weather conditions and availability):

Day 1 - free time to explore Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront then up to Table Mountain

Day 2 - walk to Freedom Tour including Robben Island

Day 3 - Winelands Tour, including a visit to the KWV Emporium

Day 4 - Cape Point & penguins

Day 5 - relaxation before flying home.

The prize does not include food and drink, travel insurance, personal expenditure and incidental costs other than those stated. It is the responsibility of the prize winner and their companion to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.

The prize must be taken between 1-31 May and 1 July-31 August 2009, and is subject to availability. The winner may extend their trip after the five days itinerary stated above but all accommodation, transport, return transfer to the airport and other costs incurred during this period will be at the winner’s own expense.

The prize does NOT include any transport to or from the originating UK airport, accommodation or any other costs associated prior to departure.

The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.

The winner will be drawn at random from all the correct entries received by an independent judge on 19 November 2008 and informed within 24 hours. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
