Boiler Pressure at 4 & radiator taking an hour to get luke warm - advice please

I have a Worcester 24cdi boiler and the pressure is at 4 when on. I have taken some water out but this has made no difference.

All the radiators get hot very quick except the new double one fitted in the garage conversion - this one takes over an hour to just get luke warm and has never got very hot. We used to have a smaller radiator in that room which would heat up just like the others but since that has been taken out and a new one put in further down the room we have had this problem.

Can some one please give me some advice.

many thanks

Try turning off the other radiators and see if that makes a difference.

you probably need to balance the system which basically means ensuring that each radiator gets a fair share of the hot water.

Bleed the radiator, sounds like it's got air in it. Ours in the bedroom is the same, every six months or so, it stops going hot and just gets warm. Once it's bled to let the air out, it's piping hot again. The pressure will probably go down too.

I was always told 3 bar was the maximum for my boiler, so God knows yours is at 4 bar.

our vaillant is set/operated at between 1 and 2 bar.
it flashes a warning at 0.6 bar and switches off at 0.3 bar.
    Get some gorm.

Good afternoon: I can think of 2 possibilities for your pressure problem (the OH is the gas guy in the family;))
    1. Filling loop open/letting by
    2. Hole in heat exchanger

Try posting on diyNOT in the Plumbing and Heating forum as several RGIs trouble shoot there.
