Hi
I have been unable to download my windows updates for a couple of months, it is usually automatic but now something is stopping it working.
I have been in touch with Microsoft service who have sent one reply so far, since last wednesday!
I did everything they suggested and it still doesn't work.
It seems to be a problems with the BITS i cannot turn it on whatever i do.
Any suggestions?
Carli

What Browser are you using in Internet Explorer, Tools, Windows Update.
Also Tools Manage Add Ons, Drop down list to, Add Ons that have been used by Internet Explorer, click on Windows genuine Advantage Validation Tool and make sure that is enabled.
Also try, Tools, Internet Options, Programs Tab, Reset Web Settings
take out the tick of Reset Homepage, then click Yes then Ok.
Exit IE then open again.0 -

I had this problem some time ago, and fixed it by reregistering a number of DLLs, having done a quick Google I think the messages on this forum
