I always thought on a settled loan (and still do:D ) that the amount you settle with matters. Turbo would disagree here...it seems. I have posted from the FOS but if they are wrong then I argued this and have all the emails of my arguing it and the replies perhaps I could make a complaint:eek: (just kidding cause I know and understand how they were worked out now.) The settlement you actual paid does matter in working the refund..;)
Sorry Turbo - we will have to agree to disagree here....;)
Thanks Marshallka for your help but I still dont understand how it works lol
I think all I need to know now is is the rebate theyve deducted off correct, are they gonna give me a chq (need to ask HFC this one) and if I do get a chq are they still gonna make me refinance the 2 loans as one and if its under the same terms as the 1st loan does this mean its gotta be done over 5 years as well???????? Tooooooooooooooo many questions aaaahhhhhhhh0 -

Right then okay.;)
So its the 2 loans to deal with then for mis selling and not the 1 ?
If that is the case is it best for tyler to get the full calcs on these then, you know when the first loan was taken out, paid off, then the new loan which I take it is a consolidation then? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Im claiming back my PPI which was mis sold by yes you guessed 1st plus. I have been paying it for 40 months and pay £96.12 per month as its on a huge loan over 20 years. How much should I be claiming back?? I have had a offer of 1st plus for £2721. Im thinking I should be claiming back what I have paid plus 8% is this right with my calculations being around £4158, is this about right or should it be more.
Please someone help
Thanks Nick0 -

Sorry I thought putting both details might confuse things so only put details of 1st loan but looks like I made things worse by doing this.
Both loans are still running by the way neither have been paid off yet0 -

I am going to leave you to it now to work the Firstplus one out with your mate Turbo as I assume he/she will be back...
