you won't be entitled to JSA (conts based) but depending on your circumstances may get the income based version.

You will get asked what you have been doing and how you have supported yourself

Perhaps the state could pay for you to get spelling lessons as well as support your lifestyle ?

Did it ever occur to you that he may have been to university after leaving school or like he said last two years travelling. He is asking a question that is all. He wants help not criticism.

As for the OP, you will find when you go into the job centre they will ask you what you have been doing and they will give you a booklet to fill in for every job you apply for, whether you heard anything or got an interview and they will question you every fortnight you go to sign on. You have to fill in the booklet.

No , it really didnt , cant think why...

Anyway , the way the original question was asked makes my blood boil , other people here make an effort to ask nicely for help , put some effort into their questions , this bloke obviously turned the PC on with his foot and typed the question with his forehead

Kevwev - go to the jobcentre and claim, you will most likely get income based jobseekers as you wont have made any NI contributions as you haven't worked since leaving school/university. The jobcentre will look at your bank statements and any savings accounts that you have to see what money you have. You will need to actively look for work and provide evidence when you sign on every fortnight (you will note this down in the booklet thing that they give you).

In the meantime, list your CV onto Monster and any other jobs website and go and get yourself registered with some agencies.

Do not rise to the bait of trolls either - just ignore them and if you really don't like what they say there is a little red triangle on the bottom left of their posts click on it and send an abuse report.

    Good luck

One would hope with such poor spelling and grammar, that no UK university would have accepted him.

It also stated he's 22, and hadn't had a job for 6 years ago, and had been travelling for 2 years. Basic maths will tell you that 6 - 2 = 4, so it still leaves 4 years unaccounted for.

Kevwev, why not get a job?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
