Ok guys I downloaded a large rar file (a program)
once extracted using winrar it then turns into a .MDF file
now I then use poweriso to convert to .ISO file.....however when i mount it on my virtual drive it just shows the previous .MDF file that I converted
what I'm after is the actually program files.....what am i doing wrong??

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right

Im not 100% ~ but im almost certain that when I use 'DAEMON TOOLS' it will mount no problem (Perhaps have to select ALL FILES to see it first though):idea:0

I think you should also have a .MDS file to go with the .MDF?
Daemon tools supports that format if I remember correctly.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Daemon tools should (I think) be able to mount the .mds file directly rather than you need to convert anything, as long as you have extracted both the .mds and .mdf files to the same folder.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
