Hi all,
I have an Apple iBook G4 12".
I turns on, looks fine - works fine. Until, that is, it just freezes.
(And it's not just the trackpad that goes, the whole unit stops responding)
I have re-installed Mac OSX nicely - that didn't help.
I have looked high and low for a method to resolve this, and have come to the painful conclusion that this is due to the fabled 'logic board' issues Mac is well known for, and the unit is knackered.
What do you think?
Please would some kind-hearted soul advise:
Can this be fixed?
Will Apple fix it for me for free?
If not, roughtly how much am I looing at?
If I decide to cut my losses, do you think putting it on eBay with a full description of problem is okay?
Anything you may think of will be helpful and greatly appreciated. This rotten Apple has been the bain of my life for ages, any advise whatsoever would be lovely.
I will await a reply.
Thanks to anyone takng the time to read this. :A
