Hi myusernamestaken, what a worry, as your son is a bit older could you explain to hiim what he should do if your husband tried to leave the country with him, obviously it would be hard for him to stop his father himself, but perhaps you could suggest that he yells out or speaks to someone at passport control, or check in or something and explains that he is not allowed to leave the country.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

I've spoken to my son about the possibility of his dad turning up at his school and he knows not to go off with him, but to wait for me. It's hard, though. He's 10 years old, but he has Asperger Syndrome. His dad does not normally get the opportunity to be alone with my son most of the time, as he only sees him at his mother's house (ex-mother in law). Unfortunately, she lets his dad take him out swimming on his own. Thing is, my ex is a Brit and has no where to live other than with his g/f. If he does take my son off, he will come back with him. That's not the point, however. He shouldn't take him off anywhere, as the ex is unstable, unpredictable and has neglected him in the past. Hopefully, the ex will just keep on living in cloud cuckoo land and not actually try anything. The only thing predictable about the ex is that he is unpredicable.

Hi again, hopefully all will remain an unformulated plan in his mind, his girlfriend seems to have got his measure, does she have any control over him? Has your son got a mobile phone, or does he know how to use a normal pay phone, just in case your ex managed to forget about him whilst out swimming or something?
Well done to you though for letting him still see his dad, it must be very hard.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
