    It would be interesting to know the sort of property these are buying. Also, how many are remortgages, replacing deals that have ended and the people are on high STRs.

    Yes approvals are up, but they are up only 3%mom after being down 66% when compared with Sept 07. Just a minor mom fluctuation. Nothing to see here - move on. Just media bull.

    he he..... so they have risen from a totally catastrophic point, to merely catastrophic point.

    The next thing will be, look the YoY year graph has stopped going down, its levelled off, you can just here it now, oh dear.:rolleyes:

  • more likely to help the Crash to gain momentum, as more approvals will mean greater statistical accuracy, and hopefully no more bleating from VIs about "too few completions for meaningful prices"...

    that would be interesting as comparing with Sept '07 isn't really comparing it with anything sensible

    This is probably the people who have saved large deposits buying houses with a nice little discount....I don't think the HPC is over just yet

    Or these are the people who are actually listening to EA and believing that we're already at the bottom. Thinking their getting a good deal
