It would be interesting to know the sort of property these are buying. Also, how many are remortgages, replacing deals that have ended and the people are on high STRs.0

STOP IT, STOP IT, MY SIDES ARE HURTING WITH LAUGHTER.
Yes approvals are up, but they are up only 3%mom after being down 66% when compared with Sept 07. Just a minor mom fluctuation. Nothing to see here - move on. Just media bull.0 -
he he..... so they have risen from a totally catastrophic point, to merely catastrophic point.
The next thing will be, look the YoY year graph has stopped going down, its levelled off, you can just here it now, oh dear.:rolleyes:0 -

HPC over? wow I'm sure it was 2008 when I went to bed last night, I have obvioulsy been asleep for about 2 years0
-
more likely to help the Crash to gain momentum, as more approvals will mean greater statistical accuracy, and hopefully no more bleating from VIs about "too few completions for meaningful prices"...0
-
how much are mortgage approvals down compared to Sept '06
that would be interesting as comparing with Sept '07 isn't really comparing it with anything sensible
anyone know?0 -

Or these are the people who are actually listening to EA and believing that we're already at the bottom. Thinking their getting a good dealIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
Ooooh - a Kosher pig just flew past...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
