make sure the cambelt has been changed recently. Have been told it is an expensive job.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

In answer to the original question the main problem you will probably encounter is the IAC valve and throttle body needing cleaning - it causes cutting out, high revs etc.
Additionally you might have trouble with the usual sensors, Cam, Crank, Lambda - check the Cat isnt broken up inside (another favourite) and have a look for leaks especially where the engine joins the gearbox and around the rocker cover.0 -
