Hi, hope it's ok to post this here!
ACE concert for Alzheimer Scotland! (Saturday, 15th November at 7.30pm, Clyde Auditorium)
ACE is large chorus of 150 amateur singers from central Scotland, who perform a variety of songs (with a professional 40-piece orchestra), mostly from stage shows and musicals, to capacity audiences. This year, the programme will include songs from Oklahoma, Calamity Jane and Chess among others, as well as medleys of songs from the 60s and Tom Jones.
Each year, ACE chooses a Scottish charity to support, with the profit from the concert and the proceeds of a bucket collection on the night going to the chosen charity. This year, ACE has decided to support Alzheimer Scotland (www.alzscot.org).
The more tickets ACE sells, the more funds will be raised for Alzheimer Scotland. So if you fancy a good night out in November, tickets are on sale at the SECC priced at £10, £12.50 and £16.00 (sorry, no concessions). Contact the SECC Box Office on 0870 040 4000 and ask for tickets for ACE Chorus Entertains on Saturday 15 November or visit www.secctickets.com/. There is also a ticket office in the St Enoch Shopping Centre in Glasgow. If you want to know more about the chorus, visit www.aceconcerts.org.uk
