Good to see you too! It seems you found my latest haunting ground...small world!! I couldn't help but have a nose at your recent posts and noticed where you were buying a place.... I hope you enjoy living there as much as i did with all those pubs to keep your beer arm in form - has to be the #1 criteria for wanting to live around there after all! We all know that's why you wanted to goto Oz after all lol!

I expect you'll see me back as a client at some point when i pick my next business venture! Must finish my bathroom refurb first! Getting married next october though so need to start getting some income in soon...not got any support jobs have you? ;)

the pros dont paint right down to the carpet, as most skirting is always white.
if a change of color is required then the carpet really must be pulled back.
    Get some gorm.
  • I will let you know when we're next ready to expand the team further :)

I bought on Lattimore road in the thick of the pub action - nice character property but lots of work to be done (kitchen/bathroom/driveway/flooring/electricals) you name it and im ripping it up!! Hence the suggestion that its better to do the painting then replace the carpet!!

I know where you mean as i had a job interview on a road off there once i believe at some marketing agency. Also a good computer shop round the corner in victoria street! Very central location though and will save you a fortune in cab fares from nights out plus close to station too so quick to get into London. Not sure if it's improved but parking used to always be a pain in the town. Googled and see your road made the news the other day with explosion in bin..... i know you want to refurbish the house but blowing it up is a bit extreme - even if it is tempting!

  • That bin blew up 2 doors away in our second week of living here... we wondered where we moved to! Police had us evacuated for about 10 hours!

My pride and joy goes in a private parking space on the back of the garden, which im just having re-block-paved :)

    Bit close for comfort!

I'd squeeze in a garage/car port if i were you! So where's the rest of your car fleet going when you acquire them?!

Surprised you didn't settle in Oz..though with this weeks cold snap you might be wishing you had!
