Best I have seen is roughly £40 for one on eBay from China or something (SanDisk)
I would probably prefer SanDisk, as I know it'll have a 99% chance of working in my phone, but if anyone knows some good deals, like I said, please do let me know!
Also, would I be better waiting until after xmas, as it's not ESSENTIAL I have it for xmas day.
HI YA THERE GO TO WWW.DEALTIME.CO.UK AND PUT THE 1GB SD CARD IN THE SEARCH LIST AND THERE WILL FIND U THE CHEAPEST IN THE UK OK0 -

However, most SD cards are now made by a very few manufacturers and they are probably from a reputable manufacturer anyway... But just beware with the imported cards...
How did you know they were fakes?0 -
I've noticed some of the eBay sellers show two SanDisk cards side by side.. one genuine one fake as they generally have some physical differences as to where the mold marks and notches are on the plastic. I'm not sure how precise this is when checking, and many sellers use stock photos anyway and not of the actual one you are buying.
Very interested in this thread too as I have an SPV M5000 and have been looking around for either a 1-2Gb SD card for it. After missing out on the £39 2Gb card a few weeks back at Amazon I guess it'll be a 1Gb one I'll be going for now.0 -

Yeah, it didn't last long though as you'd expect.

edit: upon reading the last few posts on that thread, it doesn't look like it was honoured in the end.0 -

I got stung buying an SD card via eBay, it took 2+ weeks to turn up and then it had a fault straight away!! I'm still chasing it up. I now only buy from sites that offer genuine UK stock. Its the good old saying 'if its too good to be true then it usually is'.
In the end i bought from this place http://www.memorycardzoo.co.uk I had a couple of queries about the card which they answered straight away.... and they delivered the next day.0 -
