Best price on a 1GB SD Card???

I want a 1GB SD card for my phone which will be arriving soon (XDA Exec), so would really appreciate if people know a good price on a 1GB SD card, then please let me know!
Best I have seen is roughly £40 for one on eBay from China or something (SanDisk)
I would probably prefer SanDisk, as I know it'll have a 99% chance of working in my phone, but if anyone knows some good deals, like I said, please do let me know!
Also, would I be better waiting until after xmas, as it's not ESSENTIAL I have it for xmas day.

I can't find a card cheaper than this either but do beware of buying from china or hong kong or singapore via ebay, we have bought phone covers in the past via similar sellers, they take forever (2 months) to arrive and when one arrived it was damaged and they are really slow to respond to emails0

Thanks, thats the cheapest so far especially when you include delivery. ad a decent brand name and 5 yr warranty.
Will hold out for a while yet and watch the prices and this thread.0 -
Think at that price, it's not going to drop much after xmas, so I will be ordering that as soon as I receive confirmation that it'll work with no problems!!!0

£39.99 @ https://www.mymemory.co.uk I bought a Duo card from them recently, takes a few days to arrive.0

Note that there is a performance difference between SD cards. Read and write performance is rated using the original CD speed (150 kB per sec) as 1x. Amazon have a 66x (which works out to 10 MB per sec) card for £38.99. I think that earlier SD cards were around 2 MB per second. The increased speed helps with some high-resolution digital cameras, and may (or may not) be beneficial for a PDA.0

Try 7dayshop - I don't know off the top of my head how much their 1 GB cards are, but they're certainly the cheapest I've found for other memory cards.

TechSaver, already checked that out
Apparently higher speed ones are pointless. Only real concern with SD cards is for digicams really.
