My prediction of when our gas & electric will decrease in price...

Options
...Spring 2009. Or, in other words, when the cold snap is over. Co-incidence? :rotfl: That's unless the Govt really decide (for once!) to get hold of these greedy swines and MAKE them put down prices before. Certainly people who know much more than I (and, I suspect, much more than the self-appointed experts/energy industry apologists on here  ) are saying that prices should be coming down NOW. Allan Asher (ex head of energywatch) believes the average bill could reduce by £400 NOW if there was REAL competition in the industry and not we have now - 'passive collusion'.

The Government wont do anything, so don't get your hopes up for some help there. When those bills start hitting the door mats in Feb/Mar/Apr next year and unemployment starts rising towards 2 million, then some of the MP's might start making some noise. They really don't have a clue as to how bad things are already let alone next year.
  • My gut reaction is the same. I'm thinking April before we see any price reductions.
