Cage diving with sharks especially great whites, has been my dream ever since i was little and i always believe in fulfilling your dreams, so don't want to wait any longer. A few years back i went to Marrakech, as that had also been one of my dream places.

Life is for making the most of it and as long as you balance things well, why shouldn't we all have our splurges. Glad you did what was right for you Oliveoyl regarding the gym membership.

A NSD for me. I've spent the day digging the garden & filling a skip that I hired yesterday - £140 eek! Not very money saving, but I have tonnes of soil & rubble that I desperately need to get rid of.

Worse, DS who had kindly offered to help contrived to slip on the wet mud, fall against the shed and break a window. Then promptly ran out to play presumably hoping I wouldn't notice. Erm, nice try - I'm sure all kids think that all grown ups were in our 30s when we were born.

I have decided that I am retraining in Jan 2010 so need to start saving for 3 years at uni (and just living on OH's income!) so it can go in the pot for that - means I HAVE to be debt free by then too. eeek!
  • Good evening everyone:hello:
Late posting from me, finished work at 6pm then had a call to say a family member was in hospital, just got back from visiting. All ok, but need to take tomorrow off work. Phoned work supervisor at 7.50pm at home and she was brilliant about it.

Anyway, apart from that I've had really productive day! Got a proper nights sleep last night for the first time in a couple of months and have been in really good energtic mood:j

    • Walk for 30min at lunch with couple of colleagues
    • OH pay day!
    • OH online banking

    • OH got MOT done and it passed...for free! He works next door to the place. We're especailly chuffed as we budgeted £100 as thought it would fail....so thats an extra £100 towards debts!:T
