ipod Dimensions?

Not sure if this is in the right board, sorry.
I have been looking online for the dimensions of an ipod, amazon seems to give 5.4 inches by about 1.5, can anyone confirm please if this is right?
I know nothing about ipods, do they come in different sizes or are those measurements standard?
If anyone has an ipod, want to measure it for me please, hee?

So basically, there are different models and they`re all different sizes. I didn`t know that, I`ve never even seen an ipod. (Yes, I live in the back of beyond and am isolated from civilisation )
I`m about to make sheepskin ipod covers, you see, I naively presumed all ipods would be the same size, but what I`ll do then is find the most popular model and make covers for those.

There are little socks for these models already + tons of different styles and colours

And just to throw another spanner in the works don't forget the different generations of each model. There is a huge difference between 3rd and 4th generation ipod nanos

And then there is the mini which is no longer made but a good little machine

Yup, had a quick look and I know there are many kinds of covers for them.
But I`m making real sheepskin ones, each one hand sewn (and indeed, hand tanned and coloured, since that`s my business, tanning animal skins )
so maybe for some looking for something a wee bit different, they might be good.
Also looking at making similar mobile phone covers too, so I`m not putting all my eggs in one basket.
