i've been doing comparisons on uswitch and energyhelpline.co.uk but they are doing my head in
i first enter the annual spend on energyhelpline and they said that Ebico was the cheapest for dual fuel with a saving of £79 (16%)
i then went back and put in kwh per year, the results were totally different showing british gas @ £102 (26%) with Ebico comming second @ £82 (21%)
i want to change from swalec as both are showing swalec 3 or 4 places down the list of cheapest providers but how do i know who to switch to?
thanks for any help in advance

You'll get more accurate results using consumption in kWh.
When you use actual costs, then the comparison is done based on current costs, but you will obviously be entering historic costs. As different companies change their prices by different amounts, then the comparison is less accurate. Also, your usage assumption will be wrong as all companies have incresed prices over the past year.
If you are using the amount you pay by DD every month, then you are wasting your time completely. The amount you pay monthly by DD could be significantly different to that you actually consume."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
