If Barack Obama is elected U.S. president...

...how do you feel the World's stock markets, banking systems and economies would respond?

My feeling is "more favourably" than a John McCain Republican win but after the dust has settled what then for the global economy?

Looking at the polls, must be priced in surely?

Anyhow, why would it be good. He's was one of the black caucus in the Senate who nodded through the Clinton era legislation that made Fannie and Freddie obliged to give ninja loans to members of the coloured and immigrant communities for 'social justice'.

There. I will await my commission.

Oh not this gibberish again. Here's an article about why it's nonsense. (Edit: Although there's a simpler reason it's nonsense - Obama was elected to the Senate in 2004, so I don't see how he could have been in the black caucus in the Clinton era).

Compare and contrast George Bush in 2004
One other thing I've done, is I've called on private sector mortgage banks and banks to be more aggressive about lending money to first-time home buyers. And the response has been really good. There's a lot of people in this -- our communities around the country that deeply care about the issue of homeownership, and they've been responsive.

    Oops!
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

I read once that the stockmarkets have done better under democrats than republicans.
  • will he be in long enough to do anything constructive , you just know that the best job in america will be the vice president if he gets in.

Im putting all my money in bullet futures in the deep south and supremacists groups compound construction companies nationwide , its a growth market and against the market conditions.

Maybe it will be an asassination from an apache helicopter , harry is going to claim back the empire and proclaim himself king?

I have a funny feeling that once obama takes the oathe he will peel back his face to reveal its osama....thats why they couldnt find him.And that hes the mastermind behind all this financial crisis.

must be time for my meds by now
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I wouldn't worry too much, if Obama is elected President he will be murdered within 12 months of taking office.

I'm not sure if Obama is the god send people think he is. But he's still better than Mccain..
Who wants a president that can't lift his hands above his head?
Also I love a bit of controversy, and what's better than a black president with the name Barack Hussein Obama?

If it's true, as suggested, that 99% of black voters will vote Obama, it doesn't auger very well for integration in America.

That's nonsense amcluesent. There was a time when almost all British Jews voted Labour. Are you suggesting that was a threat to integration? Plus Obama (who of course is half white, half black) won't win without substantial support from white and Hispanic voters. McCain has run a terrible campaign, picked a wretched VP candidate and is weighed down by the failed Bush presidency. Whoever is president is going to face a lot of difficulties but I can't see the attraction of a grumpy 72 year old of limited intelligence and economic grasp who has a flat-earther as a running mate.
