Does your partner work 16 hours or more each week, if so this may affect your choices. Are you still actually doing work eg accounts, preparing estimates etc and this takes more than 16 hours weekly? Will wait for reply before answering further0

sounds like a similar situation that we are in. Just hanging in there but are claiming wftc and ctc, hubby self employed and now only have 3 days at the moment. We also have 3 children

unfortunatly my wife does not work
i am still pricing the odd job here and there but just do not seem to be getting them or they are not being done
if you get tax credits and jsa will they just deduct money from one to compensate the otherremember it is nice to be important
but more important to be nice

The figure for CTC and JSA looks correct. The dependent children figure - not sure where you got this but basically tax credits pays for the children, so that figure sould not be paid. Council Tax not my area but sounds a bit high...

God i remember that too. Had no marriage, kids , morgage. Just a little car to run and was living at home. My world was my oyster. Got made redundant 3 times from 1991 right up until 1994. Upsetting but at least I had no bills to pay. Unlike now.:mad::A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling0
